UR Community Cares, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which provides an innovative web-based platform to help towns connect residents in need with neighbors volunteering to provide housework, yard work and companionship visits. Our goal is to serve every Connecticut town and expand nationwide with your help.
We digitally connect Community Members age 70+ or age 18+ if physically disabled with Volunteers age 15+ by zip code to make volunteering easy, efficient and flexible. All services are provided free of charge and in full compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols. For added security, participants are background-checked before enrollment.
