Literacy Volunteers of Central Connecticut is always looking for new volunteer tutors to work with our adult students on their English literacy and math skills. If you have questions and/or would like to register for a training, please contact Lynne Prairie at lvccprogassist@gmail.com or call our office at 860-229-7323. Volunteers are required to tutor once a week for 2 hours and commit to work with our organization for 1 year. Training is provided for those interested in becoming a tutor. We welcome all prospective tutors 18 and over with a minimum of a high school (or equivalent) degree and good writing and speaking skills. Change lives!
