Who We Are
We provide a continuum of care that spans traditions and innovative programs from assisted living to long-term residential care. Avery offers a variety of settings from independent living apartments and cottages through intermediate and skilled nursing care. We are a 43 acre campus that consists of cottages for independent seniors, assisted living, a memory care unit, sub acute unit, as well as skilled nursing facility.
What We Do
Our goal is to provide, without profit or discrimination, a full range of residential living and health care services for older adults. In the 1950's, A group of Hartford area business executives and clergy developed the concept of Avery Heights. Together, they formed an alliance dedicated to improving the later lives of retired people where the independence and good health would be encouraged and supported.
