What We Do

Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford is a community social service agency serving people of all ages, races and religions, without regard to income or ability to pay. Our licensed mental health clinicians offer confidential counseling services for children, adults, families, and older adults. JFS is non-sectarian but upholds the core values of Judaism: Respect for human dignity, helping those less fortunate and making the world a better place. The agency is state-licensed and nationally accredited. Jewish Family Services has been serving the Greater Hartford community since 1912. Originally founded to help refugees and orphans, JFS has expanded through the years to encompass many of the needs of today's community. We provide programs and services for ALL Families regardless of race, religion, ethnic background or sexual orientation. We are here for you whether your need is simply for information and education, or whether you need long-term service.
