United Way of Connecticut

United Way of Connecticut is the state association for the 24 independent United Ways in the State. As a professional association, we support Connecticut's local United Ways in their work to improve life in each of their towns and communities. Through our state association local United Ways come together to share best practices, pursue learning opportunities, keep current on statewide policies and issues affecting all Connecticut communities, and pool resources for certain initiatives best accomplished by working together. At the State level, United Way of Connecticut parallels the local work of individual United Ways by partnering with other groups to maximize the quality of human services.

Promote partnerships and advocate with government to maximize the quality of human services in the state. Provide 24 hour comprehensive information/referral/crisis intervention services using 2-1-1. Provide other direct membership services to United Ways in Connecticut.
