Central AHEC, Inc.

Central Area Health Education Center, Inc. (Central AHEC, Inc.) is a non-profit Community based organization that strives to improve the health status and eliminate health disparities across the diverse populations of central Connecticut.

Central Area Health Education Center, Inc. coordinates programs that:

• Assess the health status and service needs of our communities;

• Link care providers and service agencies in collaborative initiatives to address identified needs;

• Improve the population's access to culturally competent providers of high quality health services; and

• Educate present and future providers of health care and their communities.
